HPS

Overview

What are Reda HPS Pump Systems?

Reda HPS Horizontal Multistage Surface Pumping Systems—commonly referred to as “HPS Pumps” or “H Pumps”—are centrifugal pumps horizontally mounted on a rigid skid, which is often called a weldment.

A reliable, field-proven, and cost-effective alternative to conventional API Std 610 pumps, they increase pumping efficiency and reduce operating costs. ARZ abrasion-resistant zirconium, high-wear-resistance bearings enable the system to effectively handle harsh fluids and challenging installation environments.

Reda pumps require no daily maintenance. The modular housing and flexible plug-and-play design enable simple, quick reconfiguration of pumps and motors and fast thrust chamber changeouts, minimizing downtime. All major components can be exchanged within 2 to 3 hours, compared with days or weeks for a split-case pump.

Designed for years of trouble-free service, the pumps deliver consistent performance that extends equipment life.

The Reda Compact HPS pump is ideal for remote and personnel-free applications such as crude oil pipelines, water injection and saltwater disposal wells, and lease automatic custody transfer (LACT) units.

Reda Multiphase HPS

Horizontal multistage surface pump

Able to handle up to 90% gas volume fraction and used for zero-flaring well tests, well cleanup, and production boosting.

Overview

Maximize efficiency for crude oil production and pipeline transport without phase separation

Reda Multiphase HPS™ horizontal multistage surface pump improves the efficiency of boosting and transporting unprocessed crude oil and gas, eliminating the need for phase separation. Because it addresses the limitations of conventional surface centrifugal pumps, the Reda Multiphase HPS pump is ideal for zero-flaring operations to enhance production from wells and transfer raw gas and commingled oil fluids to a central processing facility.

In addition to eliminating costs of wellhead equipment and separators, the technology enables wells to produce at a lower wellhead flowing pressure, facilitating more aggressive reservoir drawdown that increases oil recovery.

Applications
  • Boosting of fluid with high gas volume fraction (GVF)
  • Crude gas or liquid effluent transfer
  • Well unloading and production boosting
  • Zero-flaring well testing operations
  • Water-alternating-gas injection
